Horrible o conditions!

When we got to the hotel it was horrible the smell was bad it made me sick to my stomach. The beds were nasty looking and they didnt have a cover protector!

The bathroom was dirty, the toilet smelled and the floors were sticky!! And it didnt even have a shower curtain!!. The carpet was torn up and ripped all to shreds and not to mention there was only one light!!.. The rooms next to us had broken doors broken handles, this hotel should seriously just be torn down!!..

I couldn't even breathe walking in there. We took a few looks and decides to leave!!

It made me itchy just by being in that room!! Absolutely disgusting!!!

I and my boyfriend have been kind and understanding after everything that has happened here at the knights inn hotel and I mean we been walked in on and we have been attacked by roaches and bedbugs and never had a argument with anyone just understood and moved on well last night at 8-9pm I was hugely disrespected when I questioned about my missing 125 that was added to my 620 stay Dec26-Jan 6 ! I have never been so unhappy and unheard in my life she kept raising her voice trying to intimidate me and then say I was being disrespectful when I tried to tell my story and my side of the unfortunate mishap.

She went on saying I was gonna be getting rid of cause I was speaking about my situation of missing funds I went ahead and called the bank and the booking agent the booking app said there was a extra room added to my reservation. Thats why the extra 125 was added to my bill but of course she had no clue well when I decided to dig in deeper she started acting so much more polite and nicer . Then she continued to try and blame shift my boyfriend saying he stole my money even though the whole transaction is in one amount and says knights inn. I will be coming to the office in the morning expecting a response and respect about my misfortune.

I need a refund or a few more nights added to the 125 that has been took from me . I have been emotionally drained since last night haven't been able to sleep at all .

This was uncalled for when all I was trying to do was get my problem resolved and taken care of . I didn't even need a refund since I am living here now but I was atleast expecting two or three days added to the expense of the missing fortune .

I stayed at the knights in and there were some horrible experiences.. ( I need to speak to a respresentative, of the RLH brand ) because they handled the time we had stayed there wrong .( there was things wrong .. the toilet was coming off from the floor .. there was paint peeling off the tub.. the tub would not hold water .. the switch to hold the water in the tub was moving and broken . The curtain was ripped and falling down in the bedroom area .. and the ottoman was ripped all over the place and peeling ( I would like to speak to some one higher up to explain this .)

A room at this motel generally costs $50-$60/night if booked online. I did this and paid $52.

One week later, I went there without a reservation and was charged $82.00, for the same room I had before.

Basically, the motel charges more if you register at the property, probably because they know that people would rather pay than look for another place to stay, especially if it is late and they are tired (like me).

The online rates are a way to advertise and tell people about the property and what the rates are, as well as other representations to attract customers. Adding up to $30 to the online price is false advertising and price-gouging.

It's a classic "gotcha" scam.

Well, one can discern from your review, you have never left South Carolina. Yes, you can find cheaper rates online thru a middleman, but a wise person knows to book direct.

When you use a 3rd party too book, you are that company's customer. You are a guest of the hotel but the customer of whatever 3rd party agency you use.

Just go home. Stop bothering people.

Complaint about employee

I went to check in and had a reservation and on the website it said we can check in between 12 and 3. Your employee Vanessa the supervisor or manager was very rude to me and verbally aggressive.

She said that your check in time is at 3 pm and that Housecleaning was cleaning the rooms and there was no rooms available. I said I wouldnt have booked the room if ai would of known we cant check in until 3. Then she proceeded to be very rude condensending with her tone she raised her voice and was verbally aggressive with her tone. She moved her hands in an aggressive manner and said well you can just leave and I yave the right to refuse the service to amyone.

I said you are being very rude and yelled and told me yo get out. I asked to speak with her boss or supervisor and she said Im the boss. I said you are in charge of all of red lion and dhe said yes right now I am. I did not appreciate her raising her voice and being rude alls I was asking is when they clean a room and have one available I would like to check in.

She was totally unperfessional I would like an apology from her and I would actually like to see her fired. I am close to calling the police and making a complaint that she was verbally aggressive towards me and moved her hands in an aggressive manner.

I will be contacting my lawyer and filing a cvil suite against her for being verbally aggressive and making aggressive movements with her hands. The other woman was very nice and accommodating however Vanessa should be fired or susoended for her unperfessional actions.

Most hotels do not allow check in's until 3. You did not know this, fine.

But telling you something that you do not want to hear is NOT THE SAME AS RUDE GROW UP AND STOP ACTING LIKE A ONE-YEAR-OLD. If she was rude it was because of your own rude comment. I also get the feeling there is more to this story. I doubt she asked you to leave for no reason.

You probably gave her a hard time because you wanted to check in at 12. In this case, they have the right to refuse service. Had you kept your comment to yourself you would not have been treated rudely. You got what you put out.

She told you the rooms were not cleaned until 3 and there was none available. Just move on. Don't act all smart-mouthed. What is with people contacting lawyers for STUPID things.

It is not illegal to "verbally harass you" and you were obviously verbally harassing her first. You would lose even if someone took your case. What can the police do? They would probably ask you to leave and not do a thing to her since you were rude first.

The fact that you want Vanessa fired shows how DISGUSTING you are. Especially when you were too STUPID to realize that a room was not available until 3 pm. So because you cannot wait until 3 pm as asked you claimed she was rude and needs to be fired, you are DISGUSTING and need to know that just because you did not get your way does not mean someone was rude.

Maybe your parents need to ground you or use physical punishment on you since you still behave like a child. If you had just accepted they were cleanng the rooms and came back at 3 pm this would not be an issue.

I am writing to you to express my disappointment and frustration regarding a recent booking experience through hotels.com, which resulted in an unexpected financial burden. Due to a severe weather storm that caused a power outage in Detroit, Michigan, I was compelled to seek temporary accommodation.

Consequently, I made a reservation for a hotel room at the Knights Inn through hotels.com (Itinerary # 720521****4183) at the rate of $65.

Upon my arrival at the Knights Inn, I was informed that they were not honoring reservations made through third-party booking platforms, and as a result, I was required to pay for a room on the spot, incurring an additional cost of $110, for a hottube room because they were all out of double beds which was an unforeseen and significant expense for me.

I was so upset with Knights Inn, that I had to go back to my car and have my husband come check in because I couldn't believe what was going on.

Subsequently, I reached out to hotels.com's customer service in hopes of obtaining a refund or assistance regarding this issue. Unfortunately, I was informed by hotels.com representatives that they were unable to provide a refund, and I was advised to contact the Knights Inn directly. Regrettably, when I contacted the Knights Inn as per hotels.com's instructions, I was met with a similar response, ultimately leaving me without any recourse for reimbursement.

This unexpected financial burden has placed me in a precarious situation where I am unable to afford basic necessities such as food due to the additional, unbudgeted expenses incurred. I firmly believe that I am entitled to a refund from both hotels.com and the Knights Inn for the distress and financial hardship caused by this situation.

I am reaching out to you in the hope that we can find a resolution to this matter.

I kindly request that both hotels.com and the Knights Inn review this case and consider providing a refund for the amount I was charged for the hotel accommodation that I was unable to utilize due to the circumstances explained above.

I would greatly appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and confirmation of the resolution.

I trust that hotels.com and the Knights Inn will take the appropriate steps to rectify this situation and restore my faith in your services.

Fraudulent charges

Stayed in knights inn hotel at lynnhaven. Room was dirty showed signs of water and bug damage.

Hotel charged $50 to my card, I called and asked what charges were for... Was told the blanket from the room has been reported missing by housekeeping. I never took anything from room, only stayed overnight. WHO WOULD STEAL A CHEAP HOTEL BLANKET???

I believe this is an ongoing scam the hotel uses to receive stolen money. Receptionist doesn't speak fluent and makes communication hard.

Asked to speak to a manager or someone above and was given no direction. Would appreciate someone reaching out to me to correct this fraudulent charge!!!

No refund and I never stayed there

I booked a room a room at the 4039 e houstion location during the chrismas holiday I was charged 300 and did not stay there I choose to stay with my family because of the condition of the hotel my kids would not even go in the room because of bad cigerrette smell we never stayed there not one night when I asked for my refund I got the run around they kept saying he was out of town Everytime I called now the front desk agent said she not giving me my money back I'm thinking of getting lawyer they cant just keep my money I never stayed there

they charge my card twice then when I left my companion there they locked her out of the room and said that I hadn't paid I had didn't have my bank statement back yet or my notification they sent me so I couldn't prove it and I knew if I went somewhere else I would never see that money that they got from me back so I paid cash to stay and now I have my notification just like I said and they're dragging their feet to put it back on my card. they treated me like a liar that night and now they're lying to me I can't have the proof
